Island race - Exploring the far-flung corners of the British Isles
Guild member Laurence Mitchell will shortly be embarking on an expedition cruise with Noble Caledonian that takes in the far north and west of the British Isles. Visiting Orkney, Shetland, Loch Torridon, isolated St Kilda and the southern reaches of the Western Isles before exploring the west coast of Ireland and the Isles of Scilly, the focus will be mostly on the marvellous wealth of wildlife and archaeology that these islands have to offer. To discuss possible features, please contact Laurence at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it

David Atkinson, The Observer, "Lapp dancers and Latin lovers", published September 2, 2007
