Experienced journalist and magazine editor, now writing freelance travel features for a number of UK publications.

 

Experienced writer and editor for 30 years, Judith writes about the Caribbean as well as many other long haul destinations for The Sunday Telegraph, Square Mile magazine, Real Travel, Selling Long Haul, City AM and in flight magazines.
With a passion for Africa, particularly Ethiopia and Tanzania she is interested in tourism in the developing world, as well as architecture and archaeology. She has recently started to contribute to a travel section in Current World Archaeology
In addition Judith continues to write about overseas property development for City publications and cover tourism for the travel trade.
Originally from Manchester, Judith now lives in London. She is a member of The British Society of Magazine Editors and Women in Journalism.
 
Background
Judith edited Arabel, the first glossy woman’s magine aimed at Arab women living in London and also London Portrait magazine, one of the early free distribution glossy lifestyle publications in the capital.
Judith was closely involved in the launch of Caribbean World magazine in 1991 and was Editor in Chief until 2007, visiting and writing about many of the islands, also interviewing a number of politicians and personalities.
She introduced a section ‘The Caribbean world of Homes & Interiors’ focusing on real estate in the area and helped launch the magazine’s website
