I've written numerous guidebooks to Greece, and have been visiting the country at least once a year ever since I was 18 years old. One year I managed to get there four times. I drove several thousand miles throughout the Greek mainland while researching my first Greek guidebook, the AA's Essential Mainland Greece, and since then I've also written Essential Greek Islands (honoured to take over the title from the late Arthur Eperon) and Essential Athens, which I recently updated as Essential Spiral Athens. I've also written the Globetrotter Guide to Corfu for New Holland and CitySpots Athens for Thomas Cook.
I worked on both Eyewitness Greek Islands and Eyewitness Athens and the Mainland for Dorling Kindersley, and wrote the National Geographic Traveler Guide to Greece. With my wife Donna Dailey I have co-written the AA's Spiral Athens and Spiral Corfu titles, and together we recently started our own Greece website, Greece Travel Secrets
I've also written lots of pieces for newspapers, magazines and websites about Greece, and here are just a few samples, so click on the links to read them:
